Q: I'm a Chinese American, able to use Chinese fluently. Should I take HSK?
A: Yes. For ALL international applicants, HSK level 6 is required.
Q: Does your program have any age limit?
A: We do not set age limit to applicants.

Q: Do PG program at GSM offer dual degree?
A: Currently we do not offer dual degree for mater students within Guanghua School of Management, while we do have international exchange programs for MFin students and we welcome international applicants.
Q: Will MFin program be taught in English?
A: International students will take classes together with Chinese students. Some courses will be taught in English and some in Chinese. As you may learn from the admission regulation, HSK 6 is required for all international applicants.
Q: Is there an entrance exam for MFin?
A: Applications who passed the screening will receive an Evaluative Interview in April 2018, which includes an interview.
Q: What kind of financial help is available?

Q: Where and how do I apply? Can I appear in person? I can teach demo classes in any business subject at undergrad level. Will this work in my favor? (such as help me get a TA position?）
A: All international applicants should apply via the International Students Division (ISD): http://www.isd.pku.edu.cn/ As for TAship, please also check with the ISD.
Q: Is it possible to enter in the Master in Finance offered by Peking University holding a Bachelor degree ?
A: Yes. Applicants holding a bachelor's degree or above are qualified to apply.
Q: What kind of administrative documents (GMAT, TOEFL, IELTS...) and scores are required ?
A: Please refer to the admission regulation and notice that international applicants should provide HSK 6 certificate. If your previous degree was undertaken in other languages other than English, English proficiency proof (GMAT, TOEFL, IELTS, etc. ) is also needed.
Q: What are the application deadlines ?
A: The application deadline for application is November 30th, 2017 for the academic year 2018.
Q: What are the fee corresponding to the Master Finance in Peking University ?
A: The tuition fee for this 2-year program is 128,000RMB for the year 2018.
Q: Is there a written examination for master's degree of finance? If it is, What subject should I prepare for the exam?
A: There is no written exam for international MFin applicants, yet interview is required for applicants who passes the initial screening.
Q: I heard that second round is the interview, then what kind of questions do you usually ask about?
A:The interview will evaluate students' comprehensive research & practical competence about but not limited to finance industry. There is no specific topic.
Q: Is there a requirements of job experiences for applying the master's degree of finance in Guanghua school of management?
A: Generally the applicants are pre-experience group, but competitive intern/job experience is welcomed.
Q: If there is both a interview and written examination, when is the date of the each test?
A:The qualified applicants will receive corresponding notification of interview in spring，2018.
Q: What are the exact academic requirements? Do you require a GMAT/GRE?
A: Please check the admission regulation accordingly. GMAT/GRE is not required yet a very competitive proof for your English proficiency and academic competence.
Q: I will be a fresh graduate by summer 2016, however, I have had several work experiences in the finance sector, would that put weight on my application?
A: As a pre-experience professional program, we do welcome applicants with strong internship experience.
Q: Is it mandatory for the motivational letter to be written in Chinese? Or would English be acceptable as well?
A:The Personal Statement letter for international applicants should be written in Chinese.
Q: Do you put weight on past intern experiences as well?
A: The admission standard is on a comprehensive basis, yet strong intern experience is competitive.
